WE ARE A SMALL CZECH "GARAGE SHOP"

It was a challenging and at the same time beautiful ride. We have learned a lot and are still improving.

In 2013, I founded my own brand of natural cosmetics. Life itself probably brought me to it. I gravitated towards starting a project of my own. And the world of soaps simply enchanted me. I was one of the first in the Czech Republic to start producing artistic soaps. That's how I got to work that I enjoy and can bring joy and solve people's various problems.

I started with no experience and no finances, as a single parent after a difficult marriage. Everything was complicated by my illness with frequent attacks of severe migraines, which I had half of my time. For the first few years, I took care of everything myself. The business gradually developed, although it was rather slow under the circumstances. After several years, I hired my first employee. Today I have four employees and many satisfied customers.

In 2022, I won the award Entrepreneur of the Year and Heartmaker of the Year in the South Bohemian Region. I was very pleased with it as an award for the long-term work of the entire team. And that it was really hard work to get the whole thing moving. Thanks to my experience, I know that it is possible to create a successful company even in adverse circumstances. Maybe it can inspire someone in a similar situation.

Bara

I founded the brand in 2013 and today I take care of the organization and operation of the company, the development of new products. I enjoy the right mix of chaos and order that it entails.

My original profession is a doctor. The doctor's knowledge is useful both when developing new products and when advising customers on suitable cosmetics. I love mountains, running and dancing.

Favorite product: Horal universal outdoor balm, I apply it on my face when I run in the winter, and on my feet in the summer against blisters. I use it for almost everything outside.

Nobody

Nikča is our main expert through the expedition, and I say straight away, hats off - it's probably the most thankless job here - very prone to mistakes, and everything is always round and round. Plus returns and cancellations... It takes speed, attention, patience and endurance. And Nikča manages it and still enjoys it.

She is a confectioner by profession and mainly bakes great cakes.

Favorite product: Caffé Mocha soap with real coffee, yogurt and rice oil - the expedition requires constant drive and energy for work, so coffee in all forms scores points

Sárka

Packaging products, all post-production, and a lot of small ant work around production....this is Šárka's domain. He has a feeling and an eye for aesthetics. We leave soap boxes and gift packages right on her. Šárka is a calming element of our team, always at ease and smiling.

Don't be fooled, Šárka doesn't look like it, but her jokes and jokes in English are already legendary here.

Favorite product: Rest Bar Vřes - dry hand wax with argan oil and green tea - great for stressed hands and smells nice

Paul

Our newest addition to production. He has to learn everything in record time and he doesn't have very beginner conditions - it's nice and sharp to produce soaps in large quantities. And in between endless kilos of shampoos and Rest Bars. But Pavla enjoys it and even pours his first designer soaps after only a few months. With her meticulousness, it will be a piece of cake in no time.

Pavla makes the best gingerbread, and looking at her recipes at work it is clear that she is also an excellent cook.

Favorite product: Solid shampoo for fine and oily hair with rosemary, geranium and proteins - you can already see it from the photo, right?

Lucy

Lucie is the newest member of the team, and she is already indispensable. He can represent each of us. But only in case of emergency! Otherwise, he has his work over his head - administration, order in papers, e-mails, communication. In short, thanks to her, our office is running and we can improve everything and move forward.

Lucka loves dogs and a healthy lifestyle. She likes to run and go to nature. He keeps his feet on the ground and is always positive and calm.
