Castile soap is a traditional recipe, historically one of the oldest manufactured soaps. Soaps made from 100% olive oil were produced in Spain and perhaps even in ancient Greece.
They are extra soft and non-drying. Less foaming. Emotionally, some people do not like their type of foam and the peculiar texture when lathering - however, by adding salt, we have ensured that our olive soap is hard, firm, and produces a pleasant lather (although it is less due to the salt).

Not many reviews here , so I'll contribute mine. I am from the generation when it was said: "soap does not belong on the face". I had that saved for a long time. When I bought this castile olive soap, it changed everything. The soap is soft, almost does not foam, you feel like a balm on your hands. They wash the skin with it, I leave out the area around the eyes, it's probably not suitable for that, it burns the eyes. However, it removes make-up and washes the skin really well, no feeling of tension, how many times I forget to use night cream, I don't need it. I use this soap every day, it's great.

I tried Castile soap once at a friend's house in Spain and this is exactly like that. I don't use anything else on my face.
